"Drowning My Sorrows" Post-Exam Mini Haul

The amount I spend after a exam is directly related to just how badly it may have gone...
This wasn't an outrageous haul by any means. Just a few little goodies to perk me up because I really don't know how these exams have gone. I think my placement year out of uni threw me off - I FORGOT HOW TO UNI. But only time will tell. God help me.

I popped in to my beloved Kiko and was greeted by any shopaholics favourite sight - big old red 50% off signs splashed around. *aaall the heart eye emoji faces*. I'm a big fan of the Long Lasting Stick Eyeshadows so knew I had to pick up another at only £3.90 - preferably one in a more daring shade than my usual neutrals. I chose this electric blue and I luuurveee it. Especially worn bold and thick under the lower lashline with a cat eye flick and as much mascara as poss. Edgy AF.

The eyeshadow brush (200) is one I'd been eyeing up for a while and it was only £5 half price so I had to pick it up. It's a fantastic quality brush.! However - I didn't realise it was a blend of natural and synthetic hair which I tend to avoid but Kiko is still a cruelty free company so make up your own mind on that.

I also decided to try out a couple of their Smart Lip Pencils. I've never heard anyone talking about them before but they had some gorgeous colours so thought why the hell not. I mean, I think I can spare £1.20! Was hoping to get my pout a bit more Kylie Jenner, 'cos bitch got no lips, y'know.

Weird but I noticed the liners had names online but only numbers in store which is a bit annoying as I didn't actually end up getting the shades I had originally wanted but the ones I got are beautiful anyway and I kiiiind of love them. Especially Rosewood, the more nudey pink (Rose Mauve). They glide on so smoothly and are just creamy and pigmented and lush and aarggh.  YES.

L-R Eyeshadow Stick 11 (Teal), Lip Pencils 709 (Magenta), 712 (Rose Mauve)
I picked up a couple of offerings from one of my favourite brands, Sleek. They had a 2 for £10 offer across all their products and I wish SO EFFING MUCH that I had taken more advantage of it but I hadn't been paid. Worst day ever.

I got me a pretty lil' lipstick - and by lil' I mean lil'. It's absolutely weeny! I picked up the shade Dare which is a lovely "matte" shade like a dirty burgundy and I've been loving it. From Sleek I also choose this Corrector & Concealer Palette (in shade 2 which is the lighest)/ It comes with two creamy concealers/correctors and a yellow toned setting power but the jury's still out on this. I don't hate it but I just don't get it. I'll keep you posted - have you tried this? What do you think?

I got a new make up brush... Rose gold in colour. BUT I won't talk about this now as I have a whooole post coming up on this brush and the collection.

So my final and favourite thing I scooped up is a pretty palette from everyone's favourite Make Up Revolution. (You know I love a MUR palette). I opted for a Blush & Highlight Palette in Golden Sugar. I LOVE this so much, I've used at least a blush or a highlight from it every day. This is worthy of a whole post of it's own complete with swatches, but here is a little teaser for you.

Do you treat yourself after exams/work?
Have you tried any of these products?
AND THANK GOD EXAMS ARE OVER!!
